Showtime Video in Manila, AR: My very first job was at Showtime Video in Manila, AR, where I was making $5 an hour. It was a humble start, and I owe a lot to RoseMary for giving me that opportunity to learn and grow.
Custom Communications, LLC: My journey with Custom Communications began in 2009, and it was during a rebranding effort in 2012 that I took FireTEXT to new heights. It's been an incredible ride.
Technical Support Engineer at FireTEXT: Today, I serve as a Technical Support Engineer at FireTEXT, a role where I play a vital part in ensuring seamless emergency communication systems. My work is all about dedicating myself to public safety and making a real difference.
Checkers Pizza: In the midst of the Covid pandemic in 2020, I took on a new challenge. I acquired Checkers Pizza and successfully ran it for three years. It was a period of adaptability, entrepreneurship, and learning.
Bay Fire Department: Firefighting has been a significant part of my life. I joined the Bay Fire Department in 2005 and dedicated 18 years of my life to it, ultimately retiring in 2023. Being a firefighter isn't just a job; it's a calling, and I'm immensely proud of my service.
NCR Voyix: My career with NCR Voyix spanned a remarkable decade. It was a time where I honed my technical skills, contributed to customer satisfaction, and grew both personally and professionally.
Academic Pursuits: My commitment to public safety led me to study Emergency Medical Services at Arkansas Northeastern College. I continued my education in computer science at Penn Foster to expand my technical knowledge.
Personal Background: I hail from Leachville, Arkansas, and now call Bay, Arkansas, my home. The strong sense of community in both places has always been close to my heart.
This is my journey so far—a journey filled with ups and downs, challenges, and triumphs. Whether it's supporting emergency communications, running a business, or pursuing education, my passion for making a positive impact shines through. My extensive experience as a firefighter and a professional at NCR Voyix showcases my diverse skill set and dedication to service.
